About ME

I’ve been drawn to cartoons since I was a child—with particular interest in political cartoons, where strong ideas and opinion meet sharp humor. Artists like Jim Borgman, Pat Oliphant and Mike Peters showed me how powerful that combination could be.

That early interest turned into action in high school and college, where I began cartooning for student newspapers and developing my own voice.

My professional career started with freelance work for The Downtowner, which led to a long-running role as a cartoonist for the Cincinnati Business Courier. Along the way, my work has appeared in publications across the United States, including a weekly run with the Sports Business Journal.

Over the years, I’ve created thousands of cartoons and illustrations for newspapers, magazines, and clients—covering everything from editorial commentary to custom commissions.

My work has been recognized with multiple awards, including honors from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Press Club of Cleveland.

Outside of drawing, I’m a husband and father, a history enthusiast, a homebrewer, cyclist, and an amateur drummer.

If you’re interested in working together—whether for editorial work, caricatures, or a custom project—I’d love to hear from you!
